Cambridge City Chess Club is organising a rapidplay tournament for chess players of all standards. The event is open to juniors and non-members of the chess club.

Venue: Cambridge City Chess Club, St.Augustine's Hall, 99 Richmond Road, Cambridge.

Time: Please arrive at 2.00pm for a first round starting at 2.15pm. The event should be finished by 6.45pm.

Format: There will be 4 rounds each lasting an hour with 30 minutes per player. The games will be graded.

Entry Fee: There will be a charge of £3 per player to cover grading and the cost of the hall. Any surplus will be distributed as prizes plus in addition a special prize of £10 for the best score by a player aged under 13.

No need to enter & pay in advance - please just turn up by 2.00pm on the day with £3. If you do intend playing, we would be grateful if you could e-mail chrisstew007@btopenworld.com so we can have an idea of numbers.
