8th Annual Town v Gown

On Wednesday 22nd April, Cambridge City and Cambridge University will play our annual Town v Gown match - a friendly match between the two chess clubs. Everyone is welcome to play regardless of playing strength, and the more players we have - the better!

The event will be held at the Cambridge City Chess Club from 7:30pm.

Each player plays two games (one white, one black) at 30 minutes per player. We also change opponents so that everyone gets to play against two different opponents. The games are quickplay graded. It is a social evening, great fun; food and drinks will be provided too, and it's all free!
